Alex is a digital marketer who specialises in digital strategy, business systems setup and content creation. He has spent over 10 years working in marketing, including at other non profits and software companies.
He shares a lot in common with many of the producers on the Open Food Network platform, and is trying to create a viable sustainable food enterprise on he and his partners property in Ruffy, which is located on lands of the Taungurung people.
“I’m hoping that one day, we’ll be able to start selling our Mint Tea through local food hubs and at markets. There is a steep learning curve to farming, especially if you want to do it in an ethical and sustainable. As I see it, the Open Food Network exists to make that journey as simple as possible.”
