Abi Wright

Abi is passionate about engaging people with sustainable practices and telling the stories of those who fight for social and environmental justice. Abi gained her Bachelor with hons degree in Design from Manchester School of Art and Design, UK. She travelled from her homeland to Australia in 2013 and never left.

Since she arrived in Australia, Abi has built over 9 years of industry knowledge in design, facilitated sustainability workshops and gained experience in research, analysis and building evaluation reports. During this time, she has also undertaken her PhD, where she investigated ethical branding practices that prioritise storytelling and collective identity building. She has worked in community gardens across Lutrawita/ Tasmania, herded sheep as a farm hand in central Victoria and built veggie patches across the world.
