Our Team
Gaetan Craig-Riou
Gaetan is a French-born Electronic Engineering Master’s graduate who has lived in Melbourne for over 12 years, after spending some time in the UK and travelling around the world. Growing up, he gained exposure to agriculture as his dad and uncle were farmers, and he spent summers working on the farm.
Gaetan has always had a keen interest in open source software and contributed to Open Food Network in 2020, after volunteering during Covid lockdowns. Previously, he worked in various industries, including grocery delivery with YourGrocer.
Currently, he is dedicated to improving the Open Food Network software. During his free time, Gaetan likes to explore nature through bushwalking or rock climbing and spends much of his time as a dad to his two young kids.
