Our Team

Amida Cumming

Amida’s work in food systems developed out of a background working across project design, evaluation, research and community engagement with farmers and rural communities on sustainable development projects.

This, followed by stints working on-farm in Queensland and overseas, cemented her passion for building better food systems. Amida has been based in Melbourne since 2016, where she has worked in advocacy and research to support small-scale producers and resilient local food economies.

Amida is experienced working with a range of stakeholders in community, social enterprise, philanthropy, and government, with skills in community-based qualitative research, food systems analysis, systems development, and project management.
