Our Team
David Cook
David is a software developer helping build platforms to facilitate more local, independent food distribution.
He believes that he, and those around him, need to be more connected with the land and people involved with their food production, in order to enjoy a healthier world. This has led him to explore ethical consumption, reducing waste and unnecessary greenhouse gas emissions, and he enjoys sharing his journey with those around him.
David grew up in regional Victoria before moving to Melbourne to undertake a Bachelor of Information Technology at Swinburne. He has since worked on rostering systems, before moving on to many bespoke website implementations including Monash University and Raising Children Network. He volunteered with Open Food Network in 2013 and we are excited to have him back with us.
