The Food Garden

The Food Garden is an integrated business in Castlemaine, Victoria which delivers quality, certified organic and biodynamic produce and dried goods to households and businesses in the region. The box scheme aims to shorten the food production chain, by sourcing direct from local growers where possible, however local products are supplemented with produce sourced through the wholesale Market in Melbourne as needed. In addition to the box scheme, the business also has a bricks and mortar retail store which also functions as a coffee shop and creative space.

The Food Garden is committed to allocating a share of their profits to assisting local food projects in central Victoria, including community gardens, school food gardens, small scale organic growers which serve the local food system.
