Fiona has lived in North East Victoria for over 10 years and is passionate about supporting local producers and reducing our impact on the environment. As an Activation Officer with Open Food Network she is focused on creating and strengthening short supply chains between growers, producers and customers in the region.
Fiona has a strategic marketing and business background in food and tourism. She has worked on local destination brands and helped to build food brands and products for international companies in Australia and Canada. Running a ski hotel with a regional and seasonal restaurant in the mountains in Dinner Plain she sourced and connected produce from Gippsland and the North East.
Fiona and her family love the mountains, cooking, creating, riding, hiking and skiing and are currently taking on the challenge of establishing a small scale sustainable farm in North East Victoria.
